When box positioning does not work

The IR camera image is displayed on the setting screen.
Pay attention to this image while making adjustments.

The position of the box is detected by referring to
the white areas at both ends of the IR camera image.

If the Joy-Con(R) is positioned
too low or tilted,
the floor may be reflected.

In this case, the box is judged to be “placed on the bottom”.

Place the Joy-Con(R) horizontally at about knee height.
It tends to tilt due to the ZR button,
but you can place a strap holder underneath.

Please refer to the following video image for box height adjustment.

-- When the box is placed on the floor --

The entire screen should be white.

-- When the box is raised to waist height --

The top of the screen should be white.

Other,
- Wearing long skirts or wide trousers.
- Excessive objects placed in the vicinity of the room.
- Direct sunlight or strong lighting.
- High temperature in the room.
etc. may also prevent accurate detection.
